The Wyoming Centennial Committee has designated the Band
as a "Living Legacy," and to date, we have performed to an estimated
360,000 people at an average 25 community events per year.

Tuba Christmas was established in 1974 in memory of one
of the world's foremost tuba players, William J. "Bill" Bell. The
same Alec Wilder arrangements of Christmas music for tubas and baritones are
played by groups around the world. The Jackson Hole Community Band has sponsored
and presented TubaChristmas
for more than 15 years.
